 cloth...
Your cloth sim, seems very odd to me. It looks more like flappy cloth than the leathery stiff cloth your trying to produce. Are you relying on implicit surface or explicit surfaces, because if your using explicit, the cloth will never have the feel you want. Explicit surfaces rely on vertex to vertex calculation where as implicit, i.e Maya (syflex a plugin) calculates the whole mesh.

 ok..
Ive never used syflex, as i predominantly use max, well for around 7 years now. The problem i think is that most cloth programs - i think your using clothfx(stitch), in max are explicit surface based, and arent as robust as tools in maya or xsi. But you look to be doing a nice job. I only wish max was a bit more stable.

We use Cloth Fx and Reactor to create dynamics. You will find tutorials on this portal when it's done

First of all amazing stuff, very impressive. Its always good to see good artists using 3ds max and producing such quality 3D artwork.
Now a simple question:
For your model details do you use "Crease" function in meshsmooth or do you simply add extra edges??????

seems like someone has made it into the beta-program of cgskin, huh? i'm waiting for very long now, for such a simple plugin. i've written a maxscript to drive complex geometrie with a low-poly-one, but it's slow and buggy. you're not allowed to send me a copy, are you *gg*??

there is no secrets in skinng. Learn more about skinning. Cobination between Bones setup and vertex (envilopes) mapping makes good results.
We use only the scripst that made by Blur (you can download it from www.blur.com - blur Beta). We tryed to use many skinning systems (hercules, ACT, Bones Pro) but no one has maches for our tasks.

Fully customisable rig. But there is no bones for muscules.
Try to use max 7 skin. I found the idea with new morph skin gizmos is great!

I have now only max 6.
I cannot make rigging a shoulder that it though approximately reminded a reality in animation. I already very long struggle with it, but it turns out nothing. In the book you wright all is rather quite good, but there is no advice on rigging problem places, such as a shoulder. I very much would want to see a lesson written by you on this theme
